To thoroughly implement the spirit of the province-wide work safety video conference, strengthen safety risk prevention and control in the commercial development field during the National People's Congress and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (Two Sessions), and further accelerate the development of the commercial economy, from March 13 to 14, Deputy Director Peng Xinxing of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce led a team to Suizhou Development Zone and Longquan City to conduct work safety inspections and the "Extensive Visits, In-depth Research, Proactive Services, and Problem-solving" activity.

The inspection team successively visited PetroChina Wu'an Gas Station and Lishui Agricultural Products Wholesale Market in the Development Zone, as well as Longquan Yude Celadon Co., Ltd. and Sinopec Nanyang Ocean Gas Station in Longquan City to carry out work safety inspections in the commercial and trade field. They reviewed materials such as safety management systems, video surveillance, and relevant records, and urged enterprises to earnestly fulfill their main responsibility for work safety. The team also gained a detailed understanding of the operating conditions of the enterprises and had in-depth exchanges with enterprise leaders on the development prospects of the enterprises and the problems and difficulties encountered in the development process.

The research team also visited foreign trade enterprises including Zhejiang Youtai Electric Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Shike Auto Parts Co., Ltd. They gained an in-depth understanding of the development of these enterprises in recent years, their current orders on hand, and their expectations for this year. The team analyzed the impacts of U.S. interest rate hikes, exchange rate fluctuations, and tariff shocks on the enterprises, offered suggestions for the enterprises, provided guidance on aspects such as the possibility of expanding the domestic market, production transfer, and application for the trade adjustment assistance pilot program. Additionally, the team encouraged the enterprises to boost confidence, plan their development direction in advance, strengthen technological innovation, enhance core competitiveness, and actively expand the market.

Deputy Director Peng Xinxing carefully listened to the reports from the commercial authorities of the Development Zone and Longquan City on various indicators (for January-February and the first quarter), consumption promotion, foreign trade orders, work safety, and other aspects. He required that the characteristics of potential risks existing in the current industry should be carefully analyzed, rectification suggestions should be put forward in a timely manner when problems are found, policy promotion for enterprises should be well done, bottom-line measures for major accident prevention and control should be accelerated, and the level of major accident prevention and control in the commercial field should be improved.
